Janome also included a 2 digit LED display which is used to show the length and width of the stitch. For the most part the Janome 8077 Computerized Sewing Machine has received very positive ratings from the consumers that have bought and used it for a period of time. Many of the owners agreed that this sewing machine is excellent value for the price. Compared to similarly priced models, users found that this is definitely one othe best.

One of the owners pointed out that they thought the it would make the perfect beginner machine. He explained that many of its features are very easy to use, even for those without any prior experience with a sewing machine. I sewed through cotton, satin stretch knit and leather with no adjustment of anything! Goes from thin fabric to thick with no problems.

• They are easy to use, quiet and smooth.
• The ability to wind thread on another bobbin without taking the existing spool of thread off the machine

• I wish the instructions had included a DVD but you only get a booklet.
• The manual is AWFUL and a big let down for me. Despite being in three languages, the diagrams are useless.
• There is limited power with this machine.
